What the electrotactile literature reports, and what it leaves out
A curated corpus of electrotactile, electrocutaneous and stimulator-hardware papers, each classified by what it contributes and by what stimulation parameters a paper of that kind owes its readers. Doses are recomputed on a common basis so configurations can be compared across studies.

Result
Detection is pattern-based and conservative: a tick means a matching statement was found; read the quoted evidence to confirm it says what is required. A cross means nothing matching was found, not that the value is wrong.
Method
Two classifications per paper
A reference collection assembled for relevance is not parametrically comparable: a microneurography study, an impedance model and a stimulator datasheet all omit an electrode area for unrelated reasons. Every paper is therefore classified twice: by its contribution (what it studies) and by its dose-reporting obligation (what a paper of that kind owes a reader).
| Tier | Obligation | Fields expected |

Derived dose
Charge per phase Q = I × pulse width; charge density D = Q / A, with A the area of one active electrode (never an array footprint). Areas given only as a diameter assume a circular contact and are flagged. Values are taken as reported, converted to mA, µs, Hz and mm², and never inferred from field knowledge. Device ratings (compliance voltage, maximum output) are kept apart from doses delivered to participants, and frequencies are labelled by kind: pulse repetition rate, carrier, or instrument bandwidth.
Each value is drafted by a language model from the paper's text and approved by a person before it enters the dataset.
